Factors to Consider When Choosing a Grow Light
Asking yourself these questions can help you make the best choice.

With so many types of grow lights for indoor plants and systems available, it can be overwhelming to figure out which one will best suit your needs. Here's a guide to our most popular grow light lines, including their features and the benefits they provide.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Grow Light
Asking yourself these questions can help you make the best choice.

What types of plants will you be growing?
Will you grow year-round or just start seeds in spring?
How tall will the plants get?
Where will you put the light — in your living space, or hidden away in the basement?
Should the light be mobile?

Here I'd like to introduce some efficient LED grow lights to you.

Effects of light intensity on plants
PPFD intensity affects the photosynthesis of plants. In a certain range (below the light saturation point), the higher PPFD, the higher the photosynthetic rate and the higher the plant yield.
Light compensation point: refers to the light intensity of a plant under a certain light intensity, leaf photosynthetic rate and respiration rate are equal, net photosynthetic rate is zero (organic matter formation and consumption are equal), light intensity is called light compensation point.

1. Save 100%-200% on lighting compared to other brands;
2. Industry top efficacy and light output - 2.9 μmol/j ;

Modern LED lights are engineered to reduce the amount of heat given off, either by use of a heat sink or by diverting heat away from the diodes. All this points to a winning argument for Samsung 301H Grow Light, but if you are a new gardener or simply don’t want to sink a lot of money into your indoor growing system, traditional grow lights will work just fine. Just remember that the cost of replacement and energy will overall be fractionally higher as time goes by, and I recommend the website ecofarm.ca if you want to know more.
