It is possible to replace the Ardougne Cloak 4 can be replaced with RS gold either Ardougne Cloak 2 or 3 however, they can only be used with the Farm patch at least once per day. They're only for a few minutes so the most efficient route I've discovered for obtaining all patches with 1 dose of potion, is to get to the Trollheim patch, consume an ounce of juju in the farming pot, repeat step, Ectophial Teleport onto Port Phasmatys run to patch, REPEAT STEP, the cabbage port (explorer ring) to Falador patch, REPEAT STEP, Cloak teleport to Ardougne Farm Repetition Step, Camelot tab and move to Catherby patch, REPEAT STEP. There's no time to look around the scenery , so keep refilling buckets, talking and so on until after you've taken your harvest of Catherby.
The second step most obvious. harvest(or clear if they have died), super compost replant + note the herbs that you have harvested using the leprechaun.
