EA does not care about people that are not investors. Removing Kaepernick's name out of tunes in Madden 2 years in a row shows it. Companies don't want one to defend themlet their attorneys do this work. I am all for calling a spade a spade and Mut 21 coins being happy when I'm surprised by something such as this. They don't have rights to Kap's likeness in the game however they can mention him in the tune (as they have plenty of additional people figures in other songs). I'm not defending a company. I am not saying EA is some bastion of justice. Many people in general (not just reddit) can't see past black and white. That's why negativity floats to the best in all social websites. Cynicism inspires outrage and outrage inspires more clicks. That's why negativity floats to the top in most social media. This is a major factor. Youtube for one has done research, since it's a massive part of their company and they want to understand it. There has been testimony to congress about it I've watched but can't find right now. What they want is participation and the more negatively framed something is the more folks will click it as it comes up in your recommendations.

EA literally moved out of its way to wash his title out of their matches two years straight, but this thread is making it seem like they've donated millions. It is pure fucking insanity. It's the very definition of slacktivism. It'd be more honest when they had said nothing in any way. Instead, they are gonna push out a bullshit PR statement about how they stand together with the black neighborhood and then in a few months turn around and sell a product featuring an organization that buy Madden 21 coins has a history of stifling and penalizing black voices. I never said"Let's attack a company for doing the ideal thing." You can always be optimistic of things looking up, which I frequently am.
