Better performance is mostly dependent on where the Linksys master and child nodes are placed. For this reason, after completing the Linksys Velop mx4200 setup, you must move the nodes to their ideal locations. Regarding the parent node, it should be positioned in the middle of your home, but no closer than necessary to the modem. On the other hand, after the child nodes are connected with ethernet lines, you can transfer them to other corners of your home. Verify that the cables can reliably supply internet signals and are long enough to maintain the nodes' strong connections. In addition, the Linksys WiFi app will have a Spot-Finder function. You can obtain more accurate placement suggestions by doing this. However, there must not be electrical appliances, metallic things, and thick walls closer to the Velop nodes.
