I'd like to have a basilisk head for my house. I'm level 61 in construction and level 71 slayer. I'm wearing a ring that represents wealth. I've killed 386 basilisks thus far without ever getting a head. This is my third session there. I've already killed over 100 basilisks previously. My friend was able to get an upper hand after only 20 kills, while another player thinks that he has about 12 kills currently.

My friend and I have compared notes. Other than the fact that she is a higher combat level, it doesn't seem like we're doing anything differently. I was told by a friend that it was random, and it could occur anywhere from 0 to 200 kills.

That's almost twice the amount I've done in the past, and if you add in prior sessions, that's 3-4 times more on basilisks. I have also killed over 200 crawling heads, and climbed 8 fishing levels to be in the hopes of catching a big bass. I've still never had a thing to put in my skill area. Am I just extremely fortunate or am I doing something wrong.

When it comes to stakestaking (or dueling) it is a strategy that I've seen people employ. It's: Wear weak armour. Once the stake (or duel) is underway, you must wear your finest "guns" or armour. The stake (or duel) is won! Do you think this is an violation or violation of one of the runescape rules...like fraud? I don't know. I would like to know if it is possible to OSRS buy gold use it, it seems pretty efficient.
