Shri Venkateshwara Universityheld its 9th Convocation ceremony on July 21, 2023, where over 200 MBBS and Ph.D. scholars were awarded degrees and medals for their exceptional performance
The Chancellor Dr Sudhir Giriexhorted the researchers and doctors to offer their services to the remotest hamlet by helping the needy and poor, which will lead to national development.
TheVenkateswara Group Chairman Dr. Sudhir Giri, Sugarcane Minister theCG Mr. Sanjay Gangwar, Special Guest Minister of State for EnergyMr. Somendra Tomar the Pro-ChancellorDr Rajiv Tyagiinaugurated the Convocation Ceremony 2023 by taking the Guard of Honor took the salute of the parade.
Dr Sumedha Didi, (Administrator of Gurukul Kanya Mahavidyalaya), Prof. VPS Arora Chief Advisor to Group Chairman, assisted them in inaugurating the event. After this, the dignitaries honored Dr. Madonna Roy, Dr. Diksha Adhlakha, Dr. Senam Sood with Gold, Silver Bronze medals respectively. The Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, and VC, along with dignitaries, conferred degrees to PhD researchers and MBBS graduates.
In his address,the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated that the degrees are just an entry ticket for one's profession. For success, one should work with determination, sincerity, and consistently give 100 percent to their work. He said that one's journey is incomplete until one help the last person in the row and bring them into the national mainstream.
The CG, Mr. Sanjay Gangwar, affirmed that education, medicine, and health are essential to human life, and Venkateshwara Group is doing a commendable work in these fields.
The MOS for Energy, Dr Somendra Tomar,highlighted that the scholars' achievements are not just personal but also reflect the honor of society, nation, and the institution. He emphasized the importance of uplifting the image of the institution as a primary goal in one's life
Dr. Sumedha Didi, Administrator of Gurukul Kanya Mahavidyalaya, described the Venkateshwara Group as a perfect blend of education, medicine, healthcare, and culture. This multidimensional approach ensures holistic development and growth.
Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, the Pro Chancellor,acknowledged the students of Shri Venkateshwara University as the real heritage of the institution. He expressed confidence that their achievements would set new benchmarks for the University on the global stage.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, VC, Sugarcane Minister the CG, and the Special Guest Minister of State for Energy. The event was inaugurated by taking the Guard of Honor and taking the salute of the parade.
The dignitaries conferred degrees to Ph.D. researchers and MBBS graduates. The event also saw the honoring of three scholars with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.
