Crash of the Titans - A Retro Gamer Review

Comments · 238 Views

If you’re a fan of classic gaming, then you’ve probably heard of the Crash Bandicoot series. This classic platformer has been around since 1996, and it’s still one of the most popular retro games out there.

The 2006 version, Crash of the Titans, is no exception. Join us as we take a look at what makes this game so great.

Gameplay Storyline

Crash of the Titans is an action-adventure platformer for PlayStation 2 ROM (PS2). The game follows Crash and his sister Coco as they battle an evil scientist named Dr. Neo Cortex who has enslaved their fellow bandicoots and turned them into monsters. As Crash and Coco progress through levels, they must fight off these monsters and restore peace to their homeland.

Crash is also able to “jack” the monsters he defeats by jumping on their backs and taking control of them for a limited amount of time. These jacked monsters have special abilities that allow Crash to navigate obstacles that would otherwise be impossible for him to pass. He can also use his jacked monster allies to defeat enemies much faster than he could with just his own attacks. One unique aspect of this game is its "titan" mechanic – after defeating enough monsters in a level, Crash can summon a giant Titan which he can then jack in order to do even more damage!

Graphics Sounds

The graphics in Crash of the Titans are surprisingly good given its age (it was released over 13 years ago!). The characters are well animated and the environments are full of vibrant colors that really pop off the screen. The audio design is also very good; all effects sound crisp and clear while the soundtrack sets a perfect tone for each level you explore. It’s definitely worth noting that this game holds up very well today!

In conclusion, Crash of the Titans for PS2 is a great example of how classic games can stand up against modern titles if done right. Its engaging storyline, fun gameplay mechanics, and expressive visuals make it a must play for any retro gamer or fan of the original series alike! If you haven't checked out this game yet, now may be your chance – it's available on PS2 Classics on PlayStation Network as well as physical copies on eBay or Amazon! So why not give it a try? You won't regret it!
