There is no set number of days. It depends on where you’re going and the parks you’re visiting. Usually, though, you can stay for 14 days. Some RV parks allow you to even stretch that up to 21 days. Privately-owned parks, though, provide the longest timeframes, as they can accommodate you for even an entire season. Every park is different, so the best way to know how long you can stay is to reach out before you go. 

How Long Can You Stay? 

You can stay for days or plan for a few months. It depends on park, though, and their policies. Where do you plan to go? Look at the RV parks on the way or near your destination. Consider their long-term options. You may be asked to sign a contract stating the number of days you are allowed to stay in the park. That’s a wise move. You and the management may also negotiate for a monthly rent if you plan on staying for a month or longer. 

How Much Will It Cost? 

Typically, you will need to set aside about $500 to $1,200 for a month-long stay in an RV resort. However, be sure to ask what the price covers. Will it cover your amenity charges? What about fees for your utilities? Every site is different, so asking will prevent any problems later. You’ll also want to be clear about instances where you may get extra charges. What are those situations? That way, you’ll be on the lookout for them. If you know what requests or conditions will result in extra payment, you’ll have an easier time planning for them. Being on the road means you’ll need to have better control over your funds. That’s why planning ahead is a must. You can manage your funds better if you know what you’ll be spending money on during your stay. 

How Long Will You Stay? 

There are several factors that can affect the length of your stay at an RV resort, such as the onsite amenities. 

• Are they in excellent condition? Does the management of the park do an excellent job of maintaining the grounds? 
• What amenities are available to you? Can you plan celebrations on the grounds? Are there areas where you can entertain guests? Can you enjoy some of the familiar comforts of home when you stay there? 

• What about the location? Think about your travel plans and destination. Is the RV park near where you want to spend most of your time? Are you visiting family for a few weeks and want to stay in a nearby RV park for convenience? 

Can You Stay in an RV Park for Years?

Some RV parks may allow this arrangement. Some sites, though, may have a limit of six months. If that’s the case, you may want to switch from two RV parks to fulfill that condition. That way, you still get to maximize your stay at the parks you want without having to go beyond the six-month limit.
