These sneakers were released in 2014 and were sold exclusively in women's sizes. The familiar silhouette is given a shimmery gold metallic finish,

a splash midsole in Sail colorway and a matching interior. The periodic table element "Au" is laser engraved on the tongue, symbolizing elemental inspiration that is sure to attract more than one eye.

As for the classics, this women's release of the cactus jack Nike Air Max 90 in "Laser Pink" is the perfect fit for this sneaker category. Featuring original colorways from the '90s, this model features a lightweight mesh sockliner, distinctive ankle protector and natural suede details. Pink accents on the lace holes and outsole provide a head-turning effect.

The biggest release of 2010 is undoubtedly the triple collab of the Amsterdam retail store Patta, the Dutch designer Parra and, in fact, Nike. Selected silhouette: Air Max 1.

Parra handled the design duties while Patta was in charge of the retail aspect for their joint AM1 dubbed "Cherrywoods". The upper is infused with a hint of red burgundy wine, the midsole and some details are made of suede.

while the ankle protector and toe box are made of mesh material. A swoosh coats the moss material, while a light blue patch on the tongue secures the design by Parra. The sole is divided into four colors. On the insole are individual works of the designer.

In 2005, Nike contacted Dave Ortiz of Dave's Quality Meats for a casual release of the Air Max 90, which was named after everyone's favorite food, bacon. While the idea itself was admittedly a bit too wild, it's safe to say that the design turned out just fine.

DQM is no stranger to keeping the meat-eating theme alive, as its New York boutique is designed in the style of a butcher's shop. Clearly aimed exclusively at carnivorous shoppers, the AM 90 came in two

versions - a limited edition Hyperstrike version that featured Dave's Quality Meats branding engraved on the tongue, a chicken bone graphic cactus jack under the heel, and creative placement of scratches on the toes to symbolize the veins on the strips of pork meat; a variation with the regular logo on the tongue and the original Nike box was released in a more serious run.
