It is now Nike Air Max (or popularly simply “air maxes”) you will find in the wardrobe of every fashionista, and their lineup is calculated in dozens and dozens of modifications. And then, in 1987, these sneakers made a real revolution in the world of shoes, and finally brought sneakers from gyms to the streets of the city.

 

 

In honor of the day of the first release of Air Max, which took place on March 26, 1987 , the popular resource Highsnobiety presented an interesting art project. Within its framework, the iconic models of the legendary sneakers have turned into elements of “classic” oil still lifes. And, it should be noted, they fit well into the composition.

The iconic Nike Air Max 90 DQM Bacon, of course, turned into a piece of delicious meat in the picture. These sneakers were created in 2004 in collaboration with renowned New York shoe store DQM (Dave's Quality Meat).

The peculiarity of this store, known to every connoisseur of the Snickers culture, is a large selection of even the rarest models of sneakers and "disguise" as a butcher's shop. No wonder this Air Max looks like bacon.
