Any other thoughts on Player Moderators?That is a very long time and contributes to the lack of elderly players: they simply don't have enough time to play runescape and have a hectic schedule too, whereas players of mainstream MMOs do. There are several reasons runescape is indeed grind-full: The more time you've put into something, the more you're most likely to keep playing. You have spent much time into this game to begin another. There is a constant belief that the highest level content is the best content. Numbers are larger, pixels are shinier, and higher level content is apparently much more praised and desired by the neighborhood.

The overabundance of high level players in articles not necessarily designed for them compels mid level players to get better in the game or not be able to do this material. A good instance is God Wars Dungeon: the four original bosses clearly aren't designed for 138s that may power through countless kills, but in case you're not a 138, you do not have an opportunity: therefore the content is artificially locked to a greater level. Skillcapes put unusual impetus to get a skill to 99 since every 99 currently has a real reward, even if there is no real content involving a mid to high level and a maxed level. This ensures that while the xp is awful, players will continue going for that skill.

Players loudly complain every time that the skill is made easier as it"cheapens" the game. Zezima stopped as things were too easy for newer players, and he wasn't alone. I'd like to visit a discussion on how this could be repaired without wrecking the game. Is it an impossible answer? I believe not. Here are my thoughts: Insert worthwhile content in the bottom up. When there is not any material in levels 70-99 of Herblore, add stuff from level 70 upward, not 99 downwards. Reduce the severity of the xp curve out of, say, 70 onwards. That never utilized to be an issue until it became necessary to level that high. . .now it's for many people since there's really content up there. Somehow, there needs to be a way of making mid level content look more rewarding and not just a means to an end (high level content) but I am not certain what that would be.

A probably small portion of the community does actually play for the grind and sense of achievement. Mainly the individuals aiming for 200m abilities, they gain nothing in the procedure generally by way of articles and still enjoy playing. Personally I think that runescape has no end game worth achieving, so what, you're maxed combat... now what? You can go kill bandos to get 200 kills/trip? Why? The only end game I consider runescape having is cheap OSRS gold player killing, which is not very alluring to many.
