NBA Playgrounds received a follow-up after slowly gaining enough popularity

NBA Playgrounds received a follow-up after slowly gaining enough popularity. After a long delay it was released in the year 2018. It played much like the first game, but with some changes and improvements. The game was redesigned with many improvements such as improved online matchmaking and new options for playgrounds. Even with the new features and 2K22 MT enhancements, however, the game was heavily attacked for its violent microtransactions. It is rapidly becoming a hallmark of modern games for sports.

One of the more recent entries in the NBA 2K lineup, NBA 2K20 comes with a wide range of new settings that can be customized to the game's modes. For instance the game gives players the option of creating six new teams to play in the game modes: MyLeague and MyGM. These teams are also able to moved when the player would like. It is also the first time that the games feature WNBA teams playing in the series. However, NBA 2K20 was also widely criticized for its extensive use of microtransactions in its MyTeam game mode.

NBA 2K19 was the first title in the series to not be released for the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360. NBA 2K19 also marks the launch of the CBA Mandarin Chinese mode for career commentary.

Despite it offering several improvements in gameplay when comparison to its predecessor it was the subject of a lot of criticism from players. Similar to Cheap NBA 2K22 MT Coins its predecessor, microtransactions left a bad taste in many people's mouths and triggered widespread criticism. Kobe Bryant was the cover character for the game's eleventh installment, which was the first of many games to release on the PSP. NBA 2K10 included MyPlayer as well as Association modes that became extremely popular. Both would later be featured in a variety of franchise entries.
