This place is run by the Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, which received $50,000 worth of donated building materials in 2011. This center helped divert twelve tons of waste from landfills and hosted dozens of creative reuse programs for organizations in the Pittsburgh area.

The Steel City Big Pour, the city's first beer festival, is slated to take place Oct. 16 at Construction Junction. This annual event will feature beer from 34 breweries and food from 10 different restaurants. While the event used to have two sessions, this year's event will have only one. This is due to safety reasons and the limited amount of attendees.
