In a live broadcast on April 8th, Grinding Gear Games showed 19 minutes of "Path of Exile 2" and announced a new expansion for the first game called Ultimatum, which was released on April 16th.  We can see the second main area of ??Path of Exile 2, the new area of ??the Vastiri Desert. We also saw two new weapon styles: spear and cross, each has its own specific abilities.

For example, the spear has a rotating strike area, and there is also a backward jump that throws the blade at the enemy. The beast can choose between elemental damage or armor penetration. The important information is that Path of Exile 2 will be on the same client side as the first game, allowing players to use their existing accounts and POE Currency to access new campaigns.

In addition, the development of "Ultimatum " is also shown, which will be used as the post-match content of the two battles. These new content will become a prize stage. Players will receive Trialmaster missions in exchange for special prizes. By passing the first test, you can choose to keep your winnings or risk another round to win more projects. Each level increases the difficulty and value of the loot-but if you die at any time, you will lose everything you have obtained.

"Ultimatum" will be able to enter the items found in the game, and can also be used in multiplayer games. Each player can give up and POE Orbs at any time without affecting the other party. "Path of Exile 2" is still to be released, but the extended version of "Ultimatum Expansion" has been released on April 16. "Path of Exile" is available for PS4, Xbox One, PC and macOS.
