At this point, we have MT 2K21 already seen the major selling points for your current-generation variant of NBA 2K21. UPDATED - 2K leaned in their VC South Studio for some of the development of the sport and did not add a ton of features. However, they did refine the gameplay to a point where--based on what I experienced in the demo--is perhaps in the best place it's been for a couple of decades. The question to consumers considering if they should buy this version or wait for the next-generation iteration on the PlayStation 5 or even Xbox Series X boils down to a simple concept: Is there enough here to justify an early purchase?
I've spoken with developers from 2K, and while they haven't revealed specifics, their references to the next-gen version come with this special twinkle in their eyes or a tone that indicates we are headed for the sort of reveal we've experienced when NBA 2K14 was introduced for PlayStation 4. For this day, that is one of my fondest memories not just as a journalist, but as a gamer. If that is what's on the way, what's a hardcore 2K gamer to do? By my estimation, having considered all the facts, it simply makes sense to obtain the current-gen version of NBA 2K21 should you fit into one of two customer profiles. In terms of things that make hardly any sense, the internet hub which allows for players to indulge in some street-style basketball action would have been the ideal place for male and female MyPlayers to socialize, and yet that's not the situation. Perhaps we are going to have to wait for NBA 2K22 for this 'update' to bring it based on, you know, regular lifetime, but this year's edition still makes great strides together with The W, The W Online, and WNBA.
It's more of a shame as soon as the City is an immense and important leap forward for the franchise, and one of the key additions that make this feel as more than new-gen spruce up. Assembling on The Park and The Neighbourhood areas of earlier games, this internet metropolis is filled to bursting with things to do, beginning with your introduction via Rookieville until you head off to the town. That is where NBA 2K21 starts to feel as a basketball MMO; you can jump into action with other players you meet in the road in any hoop you care to find, while pursuit givers pop up around the city devoting you challenges to get involved in, pushing you to make your way around all the new facilities. You could easily spend months in Buy NBA 2K MT Coins here, and that I fully expect lots of console NBA 2K21 players to achieve that.
